Displaced Biography

Displaced, originally from New Zealand, moved to London, England and set up the label Ruse Records and the This Way Up events series also co-owner of Your Time Music event promotions, while also DJing around Europe.

Having played in a metal band from a young age, making music has always been a necessity. With a diverse musical background, the evolution of his sound had seen him turn his hand to the drum & bass scene.

With diversity in his sets and having played shows across the globe, Displaced’s deejay sets are diverse and musical, created for the dance floor and he knows exactly what an audience wants. Recently he’s turned his hand to production, with releases on Broken Audio and Ruse records getting support from artists including Consequence, Raiden, Calyx, Nymfo, Phobia, Loxy, Cern, Trei, Concord Dawn, Subtone and many more.
