Tallan Biography

Out of the depths of New Zealand, comes a new bass driven act. Hailing from the Windy City and now based in the City of Sails, Tallan is carving his sound.

Drawing huge inspiration from local Aotearoa products Truth, Optimus Gryme and The Upbeats to sounds a far such as Mala, Kode 9, Kryptic Minds and many more there is no wonder he is known for his heavyweight stepper style and his sub dominant production.

Tallan is part of a movement that is pushing sound systems further and harder all around the globe. As part of Echo Company, Tallan has supported numerous internationals such as Noah D, Droid Sector, Foreign Beggars, Crushington, The Upbeats, Bulletproof, Trei, Shock One, Jakes, Futurebound, DC Breaks, Truth, Optimus Gryme, Utah jazz, Logistics, Trolley Snatcha and TC to name a few.

With releases forthcoming on Optimus Gryme Recordings, Austerity Recordings and Mutated Sounds 2012 is shaping up to be a big year to watch out for this young producer.
